Chris Bester

Associate Director, Environment & Sustainability, Jersey

Chris joined HLG in 2020 as an environmental consultant to offer an increased range of services for our clients. He is enthusiastic about his work and finding a way forward which protects the environment but also meets our client’s needs.

Being a Chartered Environmentalist and qualified Chemist, he can advise our clients on a wide range of issues ranging from sustainability reporting to detailed Greenhouse Gas Emissions calculations. Chris is able to provide detailed analysis or distil results into easy-to-understand reports. He works well with our clients providing value to their projects. With experience in Health and Safety he also offers HSPC services, along with others, to add multiple offerings to a single project. Recently he has been project managing new constructions and is developing skills in this arena which again complement his other skillsets.

Outside work he spends time with his wife and dog (Bentley) walking on the cliff paths. He is also a member of the local Round Table and donates his time to charitable endeavours.
