High Speed 2 is the UK Government lead project to invest in improved rail infrastructure between London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds. HS2 is the development of the Channel Rail Tunnel Link between the London and the Channel Tunnel that was commissioned in 2003 and subsequently became known as HS1.

HLG Associates were appointed to provide market-engagement and supply-chain analysis to support the business case and Hybrid Bill associated with the £15bn Phase One works. Services provided by HLG included Project Management, Reporting and Forecasting, Market ‘testing’ and engagement, Supply Chain Management and Business Case preparation.
